This post is the original draft and the completed magazine and movie poster underneath
from the original draft, we decided to change our release date to just before valentines day, as more people would want to view it in the lead up and book in advance.
Because it is a teen romance movie we decided to keep the photos more casual than of sexual desire, simply because our target audience is younger and we want the advertising to show our audience that Casey's locket is a film girls/women can relate to and potentially aspire to become.

Script Completed Draft

This is our second draft, the script has progressed to a point where we have all the scenes of our trailer. New additions to the script is when Toby and Casey get paired together on a group project, but they realise they have nothing in common and actually despise each other. Until they get to know each other more and they start falling for each other.

We also get introduced to to Toby's best friends logan and Michael, who don't like that they have lost their best friend to a girl. But what boy is going to admit that, so instead of owning up to liking Casey, Toby brushes it off and ends up losing her.

1st Rough Cut

The Video above is my first rough cut of Casey's Locket,  It's incomplete and needs some more attention to detail and pick up shots, however as an initial idea for my trailer the camera is well balanced and focused and the voice overs are clear and confident.

Moving forward, in my second cut, i will collect more voice overs and more pick up shots and  footage to create a better quality cut next time.

In this draft of our film magazine, this is really an overview of what our finished cover will look like in the week coming. The front cover will be Casey and Toby from our film Casey's locket, who will be picture in the middle of the frame.
The point of this post is to show our audience that the film is important because of it's exclusive release and that it is one of the top 10 movies to see of 2016.
moreover because our audience is the demographic C1 and E ( women between the ages of 18-30), we know that the enjoy reality TV and reading magazines and are aspiring to have a good love life and relationship.

As one of the main forms of advertising for Casey's locket, the poster shows an outline for what the final image will look like, very much like the magazine our two main characters will be framed in the middle of the page showing our audience what the film is about, because of our diary style serif font, shows our audience straight away that it's a romantic comedy.

Moreover our tag line 'Every lock needs a Key' shows that it's romantic as Toby has the Key to unlocking Casey's heart. Even though Casey's body language is closed off from Toby this is an image taken at the beginning of the film where our main character don't know they've met the right person yet.
